Being chosen to remodel a Bernard Maybeck home was an incredible honor. This project involved removing a sub standard addition and reconfiguring the kitchen bathroom and laundry room.
The project required a level of material choices that reflected the craftsmanship of the era. We reused material we reclaimed from the original house and found reclaimed redwood at other sources. The outcome feels like a well maintained older home. I think Maybeck would have been pleased.
